Hollywood Vegas Estates
Hollywood Vegas Estates is an affluent housing community located in the Sunrise Manor suburb of Las Vegas. An area of undeveloped land in the 1950s, Hollywood Vegas Estates soon became the prime real estate of celebrities such as Jayne Mansfield (who purchased a half-acre lot here in 1958). Today, it is a community of upper-middle class surburban homes, but back in 1959, this community was the site of mobster Tony Bender's mid-century modern mansion.
The Bonanza House is a 4,600 sq. ft. Mid-Century Modern-style home located near the Frenchman Mountains of Sunrise Manor, Las Vegas. It is owned by Italian mafioso, Tony Bender, who had it "commissioned" by the same architect that designed Frank Sinatra's Mid-Century Modern estate. Bender was able to secure funds for this desert residence through blood money...the Bonanza House is also where Carmen and company undergo a caper operation to steal the Mayan Cigars from Bender.
