Las Vegas Strip, South End
The Las Vegas "Strip" is a strip of land lined with hotels, resorts, and casinos. Its formal name is Las Vegas Boulevard, and is where the main attractions are. The hotel strip got it start thanks to the Mob. The south end of the strip in particular is the site of the classic Flamingo resort, originally operated by Jewish gangster, Bugsy Siegel, before his untimely death.
The Fabulous Flamingo
The Flamingo is a resort casino on the Las Vegas Strip. New York mobster, Bugsy Siegel, and his "partners" oversaw the development of the resort in the 1940s. Unfortunately, Bugsy was murdered shortly after the resort's complete grand opening success. Ownership of the casino transferred to another mob associate. The Flamingo is where Eugene accepts a contract from fellow Jewish mobster, Meyer Lansky, to assassinate Fidel Castro, and save their Cuban rackets on behalf of the "Commission".
